API standard
The classification of motor oils for cars and commercial vehicles is classified by the American Petroleum Institute (API). ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers Association) has an oil rating system that you will find on the packaging of almost every oil on the market. ACEA motor oil specifications are designed to ensure that the oil can provide the necessary performance to meet the demands of today's engines. The specifications cover a range of properties such as viscosity, shear resistance (the ability to maintain viscosity and lubricating properties when two fluid layers move relative to each other at different speeds) and wear protection.

Oils with tolerance (specification) API CF (engine oils for diesel engines with indirect injection)
Class CF characterizes motor oils recommended for use in diesel engines with indirect injection, as well as other types of diesel engines that operate on fuel of different quality, including those with a high sulfur content (for example, more than 0.5% of the total mass).
CF-certified motor oils contain additives that contribute to a more effective prevention of deposits on pistons, wear and corrosion of copper (copper-containing) bearings, which is of great importance for engines of these types, and can be pumped in the usual way, as well as with turbine or compressor.
Motor oils of this class can be used where the tolerance class is recommended - CD.
