Inlet valves are an element of the gas distribution mechanism of the internal combustion engine. Thanks to it, the fuel-air mixture or air enters the working combustion chamber. First, this part opens access to the cylinder, and before the compression stroke it closes it.

- actuated using a lever from the camshaft cam or directly by pressure from this cam;
