ADBLUE

Fluid for cleaning diesel exhaust gases (DEF from Eng. Diesel exhaust fluid; also known as AUS 32 and sold as AdBlue) is a liquid used to reduce quantity polluted air diesel engine. Specifically, DEF is an aqueous solution urea, made from 32.5 % urea and 67.5 % deionized water. DEF is consumed during selective catalytic neutralization (SCR from Eng. Selective Catalytic Reduction), which reduces the concentration nitrogen oxides (NO_x) in exhaust gases diesel engine.
