Before starting cleaning, the engine must be warmed up to operating temperature.

Step 1 (Cleaning)

Turn off the engine. Pour liquid into the spray tank STEP 1 with a volume of 1 l. Connect the sprayer tank to the air compressor (at a pressure of about 5 Bar). The cleaning kit has two different attachment parts: a cone nozzle and a probe for direct cleaning.

Liquid STEP 1 it is best to spray with a probe directly into the diesel particulate filter through the sensor hole at the front of the filter if possible. If the filter is difficult to reach, use a cone nozzle, connecting it to the flexible hose of the front pressure sensor (it is usually thicker), which is usually located under the hood.

Spray for one minute, then wait 2-3 minutes, then repeat until the spray tank is completely empty. Wait 10-12 minutes and restart the engine, letting it run for 10-12 minutes at +/- 1500-2500 rpm.

Step 2 (Rinse)

Pour liquid into the spray tank STEP 2 with a volume of 1 l.

For injection, use the front pressure hose and cone nozzle. Run all the fluid through the particulate filter, keeping the engine running at 1500 - 2500 rpm.

After washing, carefully dry the hose of the pressure sensor so that the engine control computer does not give incorrect readings. Reattach the hose and sensor. Clear possible error codes that have set in the engine management system and reset the diesel particulate filter monitoring sensors if possible. If not, then adapt the particulate filter so that the regeneration process can be started.

Start the regeneration process of the particulate filter to receive updated data from the engine control unit. Depending on the car model, this can happen either while driving or in parking mode.

Clean the equipment for cleaning the particulate filter (spray tank and hoses) immediately with water.

WARNING! During both cleaning steps, fluid may flow through the exhaust pipe, so place a container under it if necessary.

WARNING! During cleaning, the diesel particulate filter and other engine parts can become hot, so wear gloves and safety glasses.
