Chrysler MS-6395

The Chrysler oil standard MS-6395 presents the requirements for a petroleum oil containing additives and suitable for lubricating gasoline engines of cars where the properties of engine oil are required for Chrysler brand engines.

The lubricants specified in this standard are quality motor oils ILSAC GF-5 with additional requirements necessary to protect engines Chrysler Group LLC.

Chrysler MS-6395 tolerance oils are tested under conditions specified by Chrysler Group LLC Organic Materials Engineering to confirm product performance in Chrysler Group LLC engines.

Chrysler MS-6395 approved oils must not contain suspended solids, water or other foreign additives.
Such oils must pass the Chrysler Las Vegas fleet test. The test is conducted on 100,000-mile Chrysler vehicles in a Las Vegas taxi for two years and one winter. Chrysler Material Engineering can provide more detailed information. The fleet plan must be approved by Chrysler's Material Engineering before testing begins.
