JLR ATF Fluid 8432

JLR ATF Fluid 8432 is the official Jaguar Land Rover technical specification for automatic transmissions, which defines the requirements for viscosity, thermal stability and friction properties of transmission oil. The specification calls for the use of synthetic base oils with a high viscosity index, oxidation inhibitors and additives that ensure stable operation of valve components, electronic control systems and long‑term wear protection at temperatures up to 120 °C. It is applied in automatic gearboxes of Jaguar (XJ, XF, F‑Type) and Land Rover (Discovery, Range Rover, Defender), including gasoline, diesel and hybrid powertrains. The specification does not impose special requirements on the after‑treatment catalytic filter system, thus it is compatible with conventional DPF‑ and catalytic solutions.
