ILSAC GF-7A

ILSAC GF‑7A is the latest version of the international standard jointly developed by AA and API that defines the requirements for motor oils for gasoline engines with high fuel economy and low emissions. The specification provides viscosity stability over a wide temperature range, increased protection against oxidation and wear, and a low SAPS content, ensuring compatibility with after‑treatment systems (DPF, catalysts) in turbocharged and direct‑injection units. GF‑7A is targeted at modern gasoline engines up to 2.5 L, including direct injection, as well as light diesel engines that use particulate filters.
