Car Care with DPF Additives

If you have a new car, or you have just used DPF Flush, in that case you are certainly interested in how to maintain the car's cleanliness in the future and prevent DPF contamination.

Is it enough to use only Premium Diesel?

As you probably know, all gas stations mainly offer two types of diesel fuel – regular and premium class. However, there is no special premium recipe, and therefore each manufacturer of branded fuel adds its own additives to improve quality, making the fuel more efficient.

Premium diesel is produced with the following enhanced characteristics:

  • Cleaning: the manufacturer adds special components to the fuel that clean the injectors and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Cetane number: similar to the octane number for gasoline – the higher this number, the denser (more compressed) the fuel is before ignition, which promotes better fuel combustion and more efficient engine operation.
  • Better lubrication: protects the fuel pump from friction and wear.
  • Anti-corrosion properties: protects the fuel system from rust and corrosion.
  • Absorption: absorbs water from the fuel system.

Theoretically it works, but in practice the situation is not always so great. Each brand chooses which components to add, but there are no general rules or guidelines for determining the ideal formula when creating premium diesel. As a result, the customer does not know all the benefits they receive from using such fuel and this remains unknown.

Because of this, drivers often experiment and can easily end up with a low‑quality product.

Ultimately, this often leads to contamination of the fuel system and DPF filter, and to repair situations.

DPF additives

If you are not confident in the fuel quality at the station, the only correct solution is to help the car yourself. For this we created NEX10.

If you are not confident in fuel quality | NEX10

Using such an active component as in the famous In & Out, NEX10 provides thorough care for the DPF and the entire fuel system. It doesn’t matter whether you are planning a long trip or just taking the kids to school every day – NEX10 will be a significant advantage for you.

Properties NEX10:
• Smooth engine operation, reduced noise and vibrations
• Improves fuel combustion efficiency (4 – 11%)
• Increases power and improves engine dynamics
• Enhances engine reliability
• Reduces emissions of toxic gases and smoke formation
• Cleans and lubricates the fuel system and injection system
• Removes deposits from the combustion chamber, turbocharger and particulate filter
• Maintains cleanliness in EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) and DPF (particulate filter) systems
• Prevents injector clogging and fouling
• Reduces emissions of CO2, unburned hydrocarbons and fuel particles.

If you take care of your car and prefer gentle driving, your DPF will work properly. However, you can also enjoy all the benefits of premium diesel with our Diesel Multi Conditioner.

Systematic use of additives

For those who notice additional deposits in the DPF and would like to achieve even greater results, we have recently introduced our new development: Xenum DPF Fluid.

DPF Fluid works as a replacement for diesel engine additives from Peugeot, Citroen, Volvo, VW, etc. However, unlike the classic Eolys™ which raises the DPF temperature for better cleaning, our DPF Fluid lowers the temperature at which soot combustion begins, thereby helping to achieve a more comprehensive result.

With the introduction of DPF Fluid, we offer to help you care for your vehicle from all angles.

Why are additives needed? Why choose Xenum
