ZF TE-ML 14B

The ZF TE‑ML 14B specification defines the requirements for a synthetic transmission oil specially developed for 8‑speed ZF automatic gearboxes (8HP series) in passenger and light commercial vehicles. Technically, it provides stable viscosity over a wide temperature range (from –40 °C to +150 °C), controlled friction behavior for quick and smooth gear shifts, as well as high thermal resistance and wear protection under high loads. Oil that meets TE‑ML 14B is compatible with both gasoline and diesel engines installed in transmissions equipped with a DPF system, without affecting catalyst operation. Although this specification is targeted at new 8‑speed gearboxes, it also meets the requirements of earlier approvals ZF TE‑ML 02B, 02F and 03D, allowing its use in older models without loss of protective properties.
