ZF TE-ML 09B

The ZF TE‑ML 09B specification defines the requirements for synthetic transmission oil for ZF automatic gearboxes, providing a stable friction characteristic, high thermal resistance, oxidation stability and viscosity retention under high loads. This standard is targeted at newer ZF 8HP transmissions (including 8HP70, 8HP90) and 9HP, as well as 6HP, installed in passenger and light commercial vehicles of the mid‑range class. Oil that meets TE‑ML 09B guarantees protection of friction elements, valve organs and seals, prevents deposit formation and maintains optimal operation of the diesel particulate filter regeneration system when used in engines with DPF.
