ZF TE-ML 02F

The ZF TE‑ML 02F specification defines the requirements for transmission oils for manual gearboxes developed by ZF Friedrichshafen AG and is targeted at passenger cars and light commercial vehicles with 6‑speed and 7‑speed manual transmissions. Oil that complies with TE‑ML 02F must have a viscosity range of SAE 75W‑90 (or 80W‑90), provide high oxidation resistance, wear protection under extreme pressure (EP additives), and maintain stability at low temperatures for seamless engagement of synchronizers with copper and brass components. The specification allows compatibility with gasoline and diesel engines up to 2.5 L, including models with catalytic converters, without requiring low‑SAP (SAPS) formulations. When selecting a lubricant according to TE‑ML 02F you receive guaranteed protection of synchronizer surfaces, minimal deposit formation, and extended gearbox life. XENUM products that carry TE‑ML 02F approval fully meet these technical parameters and can be used as a replacement for the older ZF TE‑ML 02B approvals without loss of performance characteristics.
