ZF FFL-3

The ZF FFL‑3 specification defines the requirements for transmission lubricants developed specifically for ZF automatic gearboxes, particularly the 6HP, 8HP series and newer 9HP, which are installed in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. A lubricant that complies with FFL‑3 must have a synthetic base with high thermal stability, a controlled viscosity in the range of 6.5‑7.5 cSt at 100 °C, and a stable friction characteristic that provides smooth shifting, protection against wear of gear wheels, friction discs and seals. Additionally, it possesses excellent resistance to oxidation and foaming, extending the transmission service life under high loads and in various climatic conditions. The specification does not impose special requirements on soot filter (SAPS/DPF) or catalyst systems, as this is a transmission oil, not an engine oil. When selecting products on xenum.ua, such as XA‑TRAN 8G, M17 or XT‑POWERSHIFT, you receive full compliance with ZF FFL‑3 and a guarantee of optimal transmission performance.
