ZF 4HP20
ZF 4HP20 is a specification developed by the German transmission manufacturer ZF Friedrichshafen AG for 4‑speed automatic transmissions of the 4HP series, which are installed in passenger and commercial mid‑size vehicles. The requirement calls for the use of synthetic transmission oil with a viscosity meeting SAE 75 W‑90 or SAE 80 W‑140, with high thermal resistance (positive temperature stability up to +120 °C) and the ability to maintain a stable viscosity level under load. The oil must provide wear and corrosion protection, support the efficient operation of hydraulic valves and friction elements, and also prevent the formation of deposits on gears and bearings. The specification is targeted at gasoline and diesel engines installed in models that use the ZF 4HP20 transmission, including Volkswagen Golf, Audi A3, Škoda Octavia and other mid‑size cars. Since ZF 4HP20 does not require special SAPS or DPF requirements, oils approved under this specification are compatible with catalysts and particulate filters, if they are used in the engine. When selecting a lubricant on xenum.ua, it is advisable to look for products bearing the ZF 4HP20 label, such as the transmission oil XENUM XA‑TRAN DX VI, which meets all technical parameters and guarantees long‑lasting, fault‑free transmission operation.
