Toyota WS

Toyota WS is a transmission oil specification developed by Toyota Motor Corporation for automatic gearboxes, including conventional AT, robotic (CVT) and dual‑clutch (DCT) transmissions in passenger and commercial models of the brand. The Toyota WS requirements call for a stable viscosity in the range of 0.75–0.85 cSt at 100 °C, high thermal resistance, protection against oxidation and gear wear, as well as compatibility with filters and sealing elements, allowing smooth gear shifts even under high loads and extreme temperature conditions. The specification is targeted at gasoline, hybrid and diesel Toyota engines that use the mentioned transmission types and does not impose additional requirements regarding SAPS, DPF or catalysts, since it concerns only the transmission system. XENUM products, in particular the transmission oil XA‑TRAN CVT and XA‑TRAN NIPPON ATF, have passed laboratory testing according to the Toyota WS standard and fully meet these technical parameters.
