Toyota T-IV

Toyota T‑IV is an official transmission oil specification developed by Toyota Corporation for automatic gearboxes, continuously variable transmissions (CVT) and dual‑clutch transmissions (DCT) in passenger, hybrid and commercial models of the brand. Oil that meets T‑IV must have a stable viscosity in the range of 6.0–7.5 cSt at 100 °C, high thermal resistance up to 150 °C and a specially selected spectrum of friction additives that provide smooth and predictable gear shifts without excessive wear of gears and hydraulic components. Technical requirements include low micro‑abrasiveness, oxidation protection, compatibility with electronic valves and transmission filters, as well as the absence of components that could damage catalysts or DPF, because T‑IV is intended exclusively for transmission systems. For Ukrainian drivers and workshops XENUM offers the XA‑TRAN series (M14, DX VI, UNI), which have passed laboratory testing according to the Toyota T‑IV standard and guarantee gearbox durability, stable operation under high loads and reduced maintenance costs. Using oil approved under T‑IV allows maintaining an optimal coefficient of friction, preventing overheating and extending the service life of both conventional and hybrid Toyota transmissions.
