Toyota T-III
Toyota T‑III specification is an official approval of transmission lubricants developed by Toyota Corporation for automatic gearboxes, including conventional AT, robotic (CVT) and dual‑clutch (DCT) in passenger and commercial models. T‑III sets requirements for viscosity (typically SAE VG‑100/140), thermal stability, oxidation resistance and compatibility with OEM filters, ensuring smooth gear shifts, minimal gear wear and protection against overheating under high loads. This specification is targeted at gasoline and hybrid Toyota engines that use 6‑speed, 8‑speed and CVT transmissions, and does not require special requirements regarding SAPS, DPF or catalysts. XENUM products labeled as XA‑TRAN M14, NIPPON ATF or UNI fully meet the T‑III requirements and pass laboratory testing according to Toyota standards, guaranteeing gearbox durability and reduced maintenance costs.
