Toyota ATF Type T-IV

Toyota ATF Type T‑IV is the official transmission oil specification developed by Toyota Corporation for automatic gearboxes, including conventional automatics, CVT and DCT, installed in passenger and commercial models with gasoline and hybrid engines. The oil must meet viscosity requirements at temperatures from –40 °C to +150 °C, provide a stable friction coefficient for smooth gear shifts, high resistance to oxidation and gear wear, and be compatible with Toyota seals and filters. The specification provides protection against overheating under high loads and maintains the effectiveness of the torque‑lock system. The XENUM catalog features three products that fully comply with Toyota ATF Type T‑IV, namely XA‑TRAN NIPPON ATF, XA‑TRAN DX VI and XA‑TRAN UNI oils, which undergo laboratory testing according to Toyota standards.
