Toyota ATF Type D-II

Toyota ATF Type D‑II is an official transmission oil specification developed by Toyota Corporation for automatic transmissions with hydraulic control, including 4‑, 5‑ and 6‑speed ATs, as well as some robotic (CVT) and DCT in passenger and commercial models. Oil that meets D‑II must have a viscosity in the range SAE VG‑10 – VG‑30, thermal resistance up to 150 °C, load stability and gear protection against wear and corrosion, providing smooth gear shifts without deposits in filters. The specification provides compatibility with braking systems and electronic valves used in gasoline, hybrid and diesel Toyota engines, where the transmission operates over a wide range of temperatures and loads. XENUM transmission oils approved to Toyota ATF Type D‑II (for example, XA‑TRAN NIPPON ATF and XA‑TRAN DX VI) undergo laboratory testing according to Toyota standards, guaranteeing gearbox durability, stable operation under high loads and reduced maintenance costs.
