Toyota ATF D-II

Toyota ATF D‑II is a transmission fluid specification developed by Toyota Motor Corporation for automatic gearboxes (AT, AMT) in passenger and commercial models of the brand. Fluid that meets D‑II must have a viscosity of ISO VG 68‑100 at 40 °C, thermal resistance up to 150 °C, stability under high loads and prevent deposit formation on friction elements. The specification requires compatibility with metal and synthetic filters, protection of gears and rotating elements, and also provides smooth and rapid gear shifts without slipping. ATF D‑II is intended for gasoline and hybrid engines installed in Toyota, Lexus and related models that use traditional 4‑, 5‑ and 6‑speed automatic gearboxes.
