SUZUKI Green 2

Specification SUZUKI Green 2 is the official approval of transmission oil for Suzuki automatic gearboxes, including conventional automatic and continuously variable (CVT) units. Oil that meets this standard must have stable viscosity over a wide temperature range, high resistance to oxidation and thermal loads, and provide precise friction control for smooth gear shifts and gear protection from wear. Technical requirements include low foam, rapid cooling and compatibility with post‑catalyst filters (DPF) and catalysts, allowing the fuel system efficiency to be maintained. The specification is targeted at Suzuki gasoline and diesel engines installed in models such as Swift, Vitara, S‑Cross, Celerio and others that use automatic transmissions with Green 2 technology. Oils approved under Green 2 also meet the requirements of the previous Green 1 version, providing backward compatibility when transitioning to new products.
