SUBARU CVT-LV

SUBARU CVT‑LV specification is an OEM requirement for transmission lubricants intended for automatic gearboxes of the CVT‑LV, ECVT, iCVT and Lineartronic type, which are installed in gasoline and diesel Subaru models. It provides high thermal resistance, viscosity stability over a wide temperature range, and effective protection against wear of gears, friction discs and chain elements, as well as preventing deposit formation in the torque management system. Lubricants that meet CVT‑LV are compatible with emission control systems, including catalytic converters, and do not contain components that could damage the DPF, since these transmissions do not use an exhaust gas recirculation system. The specification covers a wide range of models, including Subaru Impreza, Legacy, Outback, Forester and XV, which are equipped with CVT‑LV with torque up to 250 N·m. Using oil approved under SUBARU CVT‑LV ensures smooth gearbox operation, reduced noise and vibration, extends the service life of transmission components and maintains the manufacturer's warranty conditions.
