SUBARU ATF CVTF II
Specification SUBARU ATF CVTF II – official approval by Subaru Motor Corp. for transmission fluids developed exclusively for continuously variable transmission (CVT) units of the Lineartronic CVTF II type, installed in gasoline and diesel Subaru models. Technical requirements include stable viscosity over the range from –40 °C to +150 °C, high resistance to oxidation, deposit formation, and a special coating of friction elements for smooth torque transfer and protection of the variator belt and clutch. Compatibility is ensured with electronic transmission control systems, without the need for additional SAPS‑additives, as CVTF II does not operate with DPF‑catalysts. The approval covers Subaru Impreza, Legacy, Outback, XV and other models with 2.0 L and 2.5 L engines equipped with CVT‑LB/Lineartronic, as well as some diesel variants. Using a fluid that meets SUBARU ATF CVTF II provides optimal power transmission efficiency, noise reduction and extended transmission service life, which is important for workshops and drivers.
