SUBARU ATF CVT-LV

Specification SUBARU ATF CVT‑LV is the official approval from Subaru Motor Corp. for transmission lubricants intended exclusively for low‑torque continuously variable transmission (CVT‑LV) variants used in Subaru gasoline and diesel models. The technical requirement calls for a stable viscosity in the range of 2.0–2.5 cSt at 100 °C, high oxidation resistance and wear protection under constant speed and load changes, as well as compatibility with metal and polymer components of CVT‑LV, including belts and pulleys. Thanks to a special formula with anti‑wear additives and corrosion inhibitors, the lubricant provides smooth torque transfer, prevents overheating and deposit formation on friction surfaces, extending transmission life and preserving its performance. The specification does not impose special requirements regarding SAPS, DPF or catalysts, because CVT‑LV has no after‑treatment system, so the oil is fully compatible with all Subaru engine types, including the Impreza, Legacy, Forester and Outback series equipped with CVT‑LV.
