XENUM

10W-60

The designation 10W‑60 according to the SAE J300 standard means that the lubricant has a cold viscosity of 10 W (ability to flow at –30 °C) and a high viscosity of 60 cSt at 100 °C, providing stable protection under extreme loads and high operating temperatures. This grade is traditionally used in sports, racing and heavy‑duty diesel engines, as well as in older high‑mileage gasoline units that require a thicker oil film to prevent wear and increased thermal expansion. 10W‑60 oils are suitable for engines without a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system and without a diesel particulate filter (DPF), because their formulation often contains a high level of SAPS, which can foul catalysts. In the XENUM catalog you will find two products – “XENUM GPR 10W60” with a graphite modifier and “XENUM X1 10W60” on an ester base, which meet these requirements and guarantee long‑lasting performance even under the harshest conditions.
