XENUM

10W-50

10W‑50 is an SAE grade where “10W” denotes cold viscosity, providing rapid oil flow at temperatures down to –30 °C, and “50” indicates high viscosity at 100 °C, guaranteeing a stable oil film in the engine under high thermal load and at high RPMs. This oil is primarily intended for high‑performance gasoline and diesel engines of sports cars, motorcycles, as well as for older production engines that operate in hot climates or under load in severe conditions. Due to its high viscosity at operating temperature, 10W‑50 is not suitable for engines with after‑treatment systems (DPF, SCR) or with catalysts sensitive to SAPS, where lighter formulas are usually required (e.g., 10W‑40). In the XENUM catalog you will find two products with this grade — the ester oil X1‑BIKE 10W50 for motorcycles and the hybrid XENUM SEMIX 10W50, which provide protection against wear, oxidation and corrosion even at extreme temperatures.
