RENAULT RLD-3

Renault RLD‑3 specification is an OEM approval for heavy‑duty Renault diesel power units, intended for trucks and commercial vehicles with cylinder capacities from 2.5 to 6 L, operating under high load and high temperature conditions. Oils meeting RLD‑3 must satisfy API CJ‑4 and ACEA E9 requirements, have high oxidation resistance, effective sludge control and wear protection, and a low SAPS content to ensure compatibility with diesel particulate filter (DPF) systems and catalysts. Typical viscosity – 15W40 or 10W40, guaranteeing a stable lubricating film under high pressure and quick start in cold weather. XENUM products such as DIESEL POWER 10W40, DIESEL POWER 15W40 and DIESEL SYNTH 10W40 have been tested to RLD‑3 and simultaneously remain compatible with the older RLD‑2 requirements, allowing their use across a wide range of Renault engines without risk to after‑treatment systems.
