RENAULT RLD

Renault RLD specification is an OEM approval aimed at diesel engines of Renault passenger and commercial vehicles without diesel particulate filters (DPF). Oil that meets RLD must satisfy API CJ‑4 and ACEA C3 requirements, providing high oxidation resistance, wear protection and deposit control when operating over a wide temperature range and under high turbocharger pressure. The technical profile includes a minimum viscosity of SAE 5W‑40 or 10W‑40, sufficient lubrication capability under increased loads and compatibility with standard catalysts, but does not require low SAPS content, therefore it is suitable for engines without DPF. The specification covers popular series K9K, F9P, D4FT and other diesel units up to 2.5 L installed in Renault Clio, Megane, Kangoo models and trucks.
