PSA B71 2340
Specification PSA B71 2340 is a technical approval from the French group Stellantis (Peugeot‑Citroën) for engine oils intended exclusively for gasoline engines of its models. The requirements include compliance with ACEA A3/B4 and API SN/CF, minimum SAPS content, high‑temperature stability and wear protection, as well as compatibility with oxidation‑system catalysts, ensuring long‑lasting operation of exhaust components. Oils that meet PSA B71 2340 are suitable for PureTech, Prince, HDi (in gasoline variants) engines and other new PSA gasoline power units, including models with start‑stop systems. Although the specification is focused on gasoline blocks, it also meets low‑particulate emission requirements in diesel engines when they operate in gasoline mode. When selecting a lubricant in the XENUM catalog you will find products that comply with this standard and are also compatible with newer approvals PSA B71 2295‑2297, allowing safe oil upgrades without losing warranties.
