PORSCHE FFL-3

The Porsche FFL‑3 specification is Porsche’s official approval for transmission fluids used in automatic gearboxes of the PDK (dual‑clutch) type and some high‑performance manual gearboxes. The fluid must provide stable viscosity at temperatures up to 150 °C, high oxidation resistance and wear protection, as well as a specific friction coefficient that allows smooth operation with ceramic and metal clutches without damaging seals. Porsche FFL‑3 is targeted at gasoline Porsche 911 (996/997), Cayman, Boxster, Panamera and Cayenne engines equipped with PDK or quick‑change manual gearboxes, including turbocharged units. Although it is a transmission fluid, it does not contain high levels of SAPS and does not affect the operation of catalysts or DPF systems, making it compatible with all of Porsche’s exhaust technologies.
