Porsche specification is a set of technical requirements developed by Porsche AG to ensure optimal operation of their high‑performance gasoline and diesel engines, as well as transmissions. The requirements include viscosity control (typically 0W‑30/5W‑40), high resistance to oxidation, protection against wear and corrosion, and low content of combustion residues, which guarantees compatibility with catalysts and DPF systems in diesel models. Oils that meet Porsche A40 (for gasoline engines) or Porsche C30 (for diesel) are suitable for the 911, Cayenne, Panamera, Macan models, as well as their gearboxes.
