MT-1

MT‑1 is an OEM approval that sets technical requirements for transmission lubricants intended for automatic and manual gearboxes, including many models of passenger and commercial Mercedes‑Benz vehicles and related manufacturers. The specification requires stable viscosity in the 75‑90 W range, high wear and oxidation protection, and compatibility with synchronizers, friction elements and metal surfaces under high load. Lubricants that meet MT‑1 provide long‑lasting transmission operation without deposit formation and do not require special low‑sulphate (SAPS) formulas, so they can be safely used in systems without DPF and catalysts. In our catalog, MT‑1‑compliant transmission oils are XENUM XA‑TRAN CVT 1 l and XENUM X‑TRAN 75W90 GL5, which are suitable for automatic, CVT and manual gearboxes of various models, including passenger and commercial vehicles.
