MIL MIL-L-2105 D

MIL‑MIL‑L‑2105 D specification is an American military standard for hydraulic lubricants, developed by the U.S. Department of Defense. It requires a mineral base oil with anti‑wear, anti‑corrosion and antioxidant additives that provide stability at –40 °C…+150 °C, low volatility and compatibility with typical sealants (nitrile, polyurethane). MIL‑L‑2105 D is intended for hydraulic systems of military aircraft, ground equipment and heavy automotive machinery, including transmissions and lifts, where reliable protective lubrication under high load is required. Although the specification does not require special compatibility with DPF or catalyst systems, it guarantees long‑term operation under intensive cyclic loading and high temperatures. XENUM products that meet MIL‑L‑2105 D, such as the transmission oil XT‑PRO 75W140, provide full compliance with these requirements, allowing professionals to safely service military and heavy equipment.
