MIL MIL-L-2105 C

The MIL‑L‑2105 C specification is a U.S. military standard that defines requirements for high‑quality lubricants for diesel internal‑combustion engines operating under severe service conditions. Technically, the lubricant must meet strict criteria for viscosity (typically 15W‑40 or 10W‑30), oxidation resistance, wear protection, foam control, and maintaining cleanliness of the lubrication system over extended service intervals. MIL‑L‑2105 C is targeted at powerful diesel power units of military and civilian trucks, heavy equipment, as well as Allison‑type transmissions that require stable operation under high loads and a wide temperature range. When properly formulated, the lubricant is compatible with modern after‑treatment systems (DPF, catalysts) because it does not contain excessive sulfate and aromatic additives that could foul them. The XENUM XT‑PRO 75W140 product, which holds MIL‑L‑2105 C approval, provides reliable engine and transmission protection, extending their service life even under extreme conditions.
