Specification MIL‑L‑2105 is a US military standard that sets requirements for mineral lubricants intended for hydraulic and transmission systems of ground equipment. Technically, it provides viscosity stability from –40 °C to +150 °C, high oxidation resistance, wear and corrosion protection, and compatibility with typical sealants and metal parts. The primary applications are gearboxes, reducers and hydraulic systems of heavy military trucks, armored vehicles and special equipment, as well as similar civilian commercial vehicles. Since the standard does not impose restrictions on SAPS, it is suitable for engines without catalytic systems and does not require special DPF care.
