ALLISON TES 295

ALLISON TES‑295 is a technical approval developed by Allison Transmission for automatic hydraulic gearboxes used in heavy trucks, buses and special equipment. The specification requires the lubricant to have stable viscosity over a wide temperature range, high anti‑oxidation and anti‑wear properties, as well as effective protection of friction elements, clutches and torque converters without adverse effects on seals. Oils that meet TES‑295 are suitable for Allison 2500, 3000 and 4000 series transmissions, as well as compatible models from other manufacturers that use similar technology. Although the newer specification ALLISON TES‑389 offers enhanced parameters, TES‑295 lubricants remain compatible with the majority of transmissions that previously required this standard.
