Allison C-3

Allison C‑3 is a transmission oil specification developed by Allison Transmission for automatic gearboxes of medium and heavy series, including models 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000, installed in trucks, buses and special equipment. Oils that meet C‑3 must provide stable viscosity over a wide temperature range, high oxidation resistance, wear and corrosion protection, and also maintain optimal operation of friction elements and the hydraulic system. The specification calls for low deposit levels, which helps avoid filter contamination and extends transmission service life. C‑3 is compatible with after‑treatment cleaning systems (DPF) and catalysts, as it does not contain harmful SAPS components. XENUM products that have Allison C‑3 approval, such as transmission oil XA‑TRAN DX VI, meet these requirements and are suitable for replacing oil in the specified transmissions without voiding warranty conditions.
