Nissan Matic S

The Nissan Matic S specification is Nissan's requirement for automatic transmission fluids, intended for passenger cars with conventional (non‑CVT) automatic gearboxes installed in Nissan models with gasoline and diesel engines, including the Qashqai, X‑Trail, Patrol series and others. According to Matic S, the fluid must have a viscosity in the SAE 75‑90 range, provide stable torque transfer, rapid cooling and oxidation protection, and retain wear‑resistant properties under high temperatures and loads. The specification foresees compatibility with conventional lubrication systems, does not require special SAPS additives, and therefore is suitable for transmissions without DPF systems and catalytic neutralizers. Compliance with Nissan Matic S guarantees proper operation of valve and hydraulic components, prevents overheating and premature wear, and also supports the vehicle's claimed fuel efficiency.
