Nissan Matic Fluid J

The Nissan Matic Fluid J specification defines the requirements for automatic transmission fluid that provides the required viscosity level, high‑temperature stability, and controlled friction for optimal operation of Nissan hydraulic automatic transmissions. This ATF is designed for conventional 4‑, 5‑ and 6‑speed automatic gearboxes installed in models such as Altima, Maxima, Pathfinder, X‑Trail and others, covering both gasoline and diesel engines, without special requirements for DPFs or catalysts. The formula contains synthetic ester base oils, additives against oxidation, wear and corrosion, and is compatible with Nissan original seals, preventing their softening. Compliance with Nissan Matic Fluid J guarantees stable torque transfer, prevents overheating and premature gear‑wheel wear, while maintaining the claimed fuel efficiency. Although newer specifications NS‑1, NS‑2 and NS‑3 are also approved by Nissan, Fluid J remains fully compatible and can be used as a replacement in older models without affecting warranty requirements.
