Nissan Matic Fluid D

The Nissan Matic Fluid D specification defines the requirements for automatic transmission fluid developed by Nissan to ensure stable operation of AT in a wide range of models, including gasoline and diesel engines with front‑wheel drive, rear‑wheel drive and CVT‑systems. The fluid must have high thermal resistance, low viscosity on cold start and the ability to maintain stable hydraulic pressure, preventing overheating and excessive wear of gear pairs. According to Nissan requirements, Matic Fluid D is compatible with catalysts and DPF systems, therefore it does not contain high levels of sulfate, aromatic and phosphorus compounds (SAPS), allowing it to retain effectiveness after‑catalyst cleaning. The specification applies to transmissions of Nissan Qashqai, X‑Trail, Patrol, Navara, as well as some Z series and GT‑R models where increased load resistance is required.
