Mitsubishi SP-IV

Mitsubishi SP‑IV is the official transmission oil specification developed by Mitsubishi Motors for automatic gearboxes, including conventional AT, continuously variable (CVT) and dual‑clutch (DCT) variants used in the brand’s passenger and commercial models. The specification requires a synthetic base with high thermal stability, viscosity in the range of 7.5–9.5 cSt at 100 °C, oxidation stability and retention of properties under high loads and temperatures up to 130 °C.
