Specification Mitsubishi DiaQueen ATF J3 – is a synthetic transmission fluid developed according to Mitsubishi Motors requirements for automatic transmissions (AT) and DCT installed in passenger and commercial models of the brand, including gasoline and diesel powertrains, as well as turbocharged variants. The fluid provides stable viscosity in the range 30 °C – 100 °C, high resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation, and optimized friction properties that guarantee smooth gear shifts and protection of friction elements. ATF J3 is compatible with catalyst and DPF systems, contains no sulfate, aromatic or phosphorus compounds (SAPS‑free), allowing the effectiveness of post‑catalyst filters to be maintained. If needed, fluids approved under the older J2 specification can be used, which remain fully backward compatible, although J3 offers increased thermal stability and better protective action.
