MB 236.14

Approval MB 236.14 is a Mercedes‑Benz technical requirement for transmission fluids, intended for automatic gearboxes, including 7‑speed 7G‑Tronic, 9‑speed 9G‑Tronic, as well as dual‑clutch (DCT) and some older 5‑speed units. The fluid must have low viscosity on cold start, high oxidation resistance and shear stability, providing smooth shifting, protection of flanges and valve components from wear, and preventing foam formation. The specification calls for compatibility with seals and filters used in MB transmissions and does not contain sulfate additives, making it suitable for systems without catalytic neutralizers. Oils that meet MB 236.14 are suitable for both new models (W213, W222, W463) and older versions that previously used approval MB 236.10, ensuring a safe upgrade without changing technical requirements. When choosing XENUM products, such as XA‑TRAN M14, M15 or UNI, you receive a fully synthetic formula that meets these requirements and guarantees transmission durability.
