MB 236.11
Approval MB 236.11 is a technical requirement from Mercedes‑Benz for transmission fluids, intended for automatic gearboxes, dual‑clutch transmissions (DCT) and hydraulic systems used in passenger and light commercial vehicle models of the brand. The specification defines a minimum viscosity of ISO VG 4‑6 at 40 °C, high resistance to oxidation, wear and corrosion protection, as well as controlled friction properties that ensure smooth gear shifts and long‑lasting operation of friction elements. Fluid that complies with MB 236.11 is compatible with 5G‑Tronic, 6‑speed, 7G‑Tronic, 9G‑Tronic transmissions and their DCT variants installed in C‑Class, E‑Class, S‑Class, G‑Class models and in the Sprinter light‑commercial vans. Since the specification does not include SAPS requirements, it does not affect the operation of DPFs or catalysts, and therefore can be used in any engines coupled to the listed transmissions. When selecting oil on xenum.ua, you should look for products bearing the MB 236.11 marking, as they guarantee compliance with all Daimler requirements for viscosity, thermal stability and transmission component protection.
