MAN Z2

MAN Z2 is a technical approval developed by the German commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN for transmission oils used in their manual gearboxes. The specification requires stable viscosity over a wide temperature range, high resistance to oxidation, protection against wear and corrosion, as well as additive compatibility with synchronizers and the clutch, ensuring smooth gear shifts and long‑lasting operation under high loads.
