MAN 339 Type Z11

MAN 339 Type Z11 — this is MAN’s technical approval for engine oils specially developed for modern diesel engines of the D, D08 and D20 series installed in MAN trucks, buses and heavy commercial vehicles. The specification requires compliance with API CJ‑4/CK‑4, ACEA C3, low SAPS content and high detergency, which provides cylinder wear protection, stability at high temperatures and support for after‑treatment systems (DPF) and catalysts. The oil must have a viscosity range of 10W‑40 or 5W‑30, ensure rapid dissolution of deposits, resist oxidation and corrosion, and also maintain economical fuel consumption. This standard is suitable for MAN TGX, TGS, L2000 engines, as well as for models operating under high‑load and long‑distance conditions. Products approved under MAN 339 Type Z11 are usually also compatible with previous MAN 339 Type Z1/Z2 approvals, allowing their use in older engines without loss of protective properties.
