MAN 3277

MAN 3277 approval is a technical standard developed by the German commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN for engine oils used in their modern medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines. Oil that complies with MAN 3277 must meet API CJ‑4/CK‑4 requirements, have a viscosity range of 5W‑30 – 10W‑40, provide low SAPS (sulfated, aromatic and phosphorus compounds) content and high oxidation resistance, which guarantees cylinder protection, reduced bearing wear and stable operation of after‑treatment systems (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). The specification is targeted at MAN L2000, L3000, TGS, TGX and other turbocharged engine models that operate across a wide load range – from light trucks to heavy haulers. Using oil approved under MAN 3277 allows maintaining the claimed performance and engine durability while complying with European environmental regulations. On xenum.ua this approval is represented, for example, by the engine oil XENUM DIESEL SYNTH 5W30 E4/E7, which fully meets the MAN 3277 requirements.
