JASO FC specification is a Japanese standard for two‑stroke engine oils that requires a higher level of clutch friction, high detergency, oxidation resistance and wear protection, as well as limited deposit formation in the combustion chamber. Oils that meet JASO FC provide a higher friction coefficient compared with JASO FD, making them ideal for high‑performance two‑stroke engines of sport motorcycles, cross‑motorcycles, moto‑racing, as well as for small gasoline engines in boats and garden equipment. Thanks to a balanced formula they maintain stable power and minimize smoke, but the increased content of metallic additives makes them incompatible with catalyst systems, DPF or FAP.
