DH-2

The JASO DH‑2 specification is a Japanese standard developed for heavy-duty diesel engines of trucks and buses, which sets strict requirements for wear, oxidation, detergency and the level of residual ash particles. DH‑2 calls for a minimum viscosity in the range 10W‑40 or 5W‑30, high oxidation resistance and corrosion protection, as well as limits on the content of sulfate, aromatic and phosphorus compounds (SAPS), ensuring compatibility with after‑treatment systems (DPF, FAP) and catalysts. The standard is aimed at modern turbo‑diesels with high injection pressure and electronic control, including engines operating under high load and long‑duration service. XENUM DIESEL SYNTH 10W40 and 5W30 oils, which are labeled as DH‑2, meet these requirements and are suitable for both new and upgraded engines that require low‑SAP oil without loss of protective properties.
