Isuzu ATF III

Isuzu ATF III approval is a technical standard of Japanese Isuzu Motors for automatic transmissions, which sets requirements for viscosity, thermal stability, oxidation resistance and wear protection. It is intended for new models of Isuzu passenger sedans, commercial vans, trucks and buses equipped with 6‑speed and 8‑speed automatic gearboxes, where stable operation is required in a temperature range from –40 °C to +120 °C. The requirements include a minimum viscosity grade according to SAE J306 (VI = 6,5 ± 0,5) and a high ability to resist deposit formation on friction elements, ensuring long‑lasting smooth gear shifts. The specification does not impose restrictions on the after‑treatment system (SAPS/DPF/catalyst), therefore the oil is compatible with any type of exhaust cleaning technologies used in Isuzu models. By using XENUM transmission oil designated as Isuzu ATF III (for example, XA‑TRAN M14 or XA‑TRAN UNI), you obtain a product that has passed all tests under this standard and guarantees proper gearbox operation and preservation of the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
