HONDA MTF 94

Specification HONDA MTF‑94 is an OEM approval by Honda Motor Co. for transmission oils intended exclusively for manual gearboxes (MT) in Honda and Acura passenger cars. Technically it defines a viscosity of 75 W‑80 according to the GL‑4/5 standard, molecular‑structure stability at high temperatures up to 150 °C, a low friction coefficient and protection of synchronizers from wear, corrosion and oxidation. MTF‑94 provides smooth gear shifting, maintains optimal system pressure and durability under loads typical of gasoline and hybrid engines, including models with start‑stop systems. The specification does not include requirements for SAPS, DPF or catalytic systems, so it is compatible with any transmissions that do not require special protection from soot particles.
